Subpar?
I was thinking today about how when something doesn't work well, it's called "subpar". If you think about it more, subpar basically means "below par". Isn't that a good thing? In golf, when a person is below par, it's a good thing. When they're above par, they're probably losing. Therefore, "subpar" should mean something that is good. Either that, or golf is just a weird sport for awarding the person that has the lowest score...

October the Eighth, in the year of MMIX.
I'll run you through a brief history lesson on my blogging experience first. I used to blog a lot, almost everyday, on homeschoolblogger.com. However, I felt that my life began to recede into extreme dull and lifelessness. Either that or I stopped wanting to convey every second of my day, which I felt compelled to do in my last blog. I'm not exactly sure why I wanted to start blogging again, but I did. Maybe it was compulsive momentum. And I'm going to try to propel myself on that. Awesome.
So here's how my day went down. Recently my internal clock has been thrown way off, I'm not sure why. But it leads to me waking up late. After waking up at 11 AM, I realized I had my math class at 1. Usually I show up either on time, or a few minutes late. So, I decided to get there early, by about 10 minutes. I got there and the door was locked and the teacher wasn't there yet. So my first lesson (maybe only one) that I learned today was the futileness of showing up to class early. After the teacher showed up and class started and consequently ended, we had online homework to do in class. Usually the teacher writes problems on the board and solves them while we do homework, or does something on his computer, but today he did something different... for some reason. He played classical music from his computer speakers. Now, for all of you who know my music tastes, you'll know that I don't like classical music. And, contrary to popular belief, it doesn't help everyone with their studying. Or, at least not for me. After plugging into my iPod (we're allowed to do that during homework), I realized that System of a Down helps me solve problems with exponents better than classical music does. Or at least, for the first hour or so it did. Then it started getting confusing. Anyway, after math class, I stopped by Dollar General to get some compressed air. While I was looking for it, I thought about how weird it would be asking the workers if they had "compressed air." Cause if you don't know that it's in a can with a nozzle, it just sounds weird... asking where "air" is. But I got it and also picked up some playing cards. The next few hours I don't remember that well. Anyway, at some point, I went to my Engineering Class. Around 5:30ish. Didn't learn too much there, except that I really don't want to buy a Canon Digital Rebel 12.1 megapixel camera. Too many complaints about the autofocus. After that I came home. For some reason my brain is failing and I can't remember what happened after that. I think it might have something to do with the fact that my sister is watching a show on the TV behind me about redesigning wedding dresses. It's distracting. It's a little weird though, cause all of the original dresses looked sort of like they were 17th century Puritan dresses. Or something. Maybe it's me. Or not. DAY HAS ENDED almost. Meanwhile my train of thought has derailed and burst into flames. So I guess this is the end.
